I think you should have the option to sell items to other users.
Not sure if this has been suggested before, but its not in the list. But I think it would be a great idea, and way for people to make money.
Lets say that you have a balloon, and you want to buy something else but you don't have enough money. You could put the item up for sale and another user could come and buy it. Preferably you would put it up for sale for more than what you would get if u sold it back to the shop, and less than if u bought it from the shop. So everyone wins. And it would help improve activity because people could just do it for fun.
